Delete Your Account and Data

Halved (golf.halved.app) — developed by Paul Lipkin.

You can delete your Halved account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and you do not need the app installed to make a request.

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Halved and sign in.
  2. Open the menu and go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Deletion takes effect immediately and you will be signed out. If you are the only administrator of an account that still has other members, you will be asked to promote another administrator first.

2. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, cannot sign in, or would rather we handle it for you, email us:

Email: support@halved.golf
Subject: Halved account deletion request

Please include the phone number you used to sign in, so we can identify the correct account. We will confirm the request from that number before deleting anything, and we complete verified requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

What is kept, and why

Golf is scored in groups, and a scorecard belongs to everyone who played it. Your past scores are part of shared round histories that also belong to the other golfers in your group, so those historical game records are retained in an anonymized form — no longer associated with your name, phone number, or email address — so that the other players' rounds remain complete and correct.

Anonymized game records are kept as part of those other golfers' round history. They contain no information that identifies you.

Deleting some of your data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific information. From within the app you can delete:

Deleting any of these leaves your account and sign-in intact.
